Tables:
Hand counts are subject to change
Do not make tables until your pairing is announced,
You will be asked to remake, if your table is made in advance.
All Tables are Unrated/ No FF/Protected, unless otherwise stated by the TD.
Each game should be played on a new table.
Once your team has been called in lobby, you or your partner will have TWO minutes to make the table.
After 1 minute has passed, you will get 1 minute warning in lobby to make table.
IF you do not make in that alloted time, your opponents will make & you lose your table & choice of seats for that game.
Auto DQ for 3rd. Misbid/Misplay penalties will be added/subtracted AFTER last hand / final score.
Rated Tourney Games: -100 1st occuarence

Misbid/Misplay penalties will be added/subtracted AFTER last hand / final score. ~ in 1v1 misplay/misbid is deducted from that player not team.
General Tourney Rules: Kibitz Off before starting game play
The 5 second rule can and will be applied to your game, if there is excessive or repeated slow play during game.
The TD will announce it;
once in effect, all players have 5 seconds each to play a card.
If you take longer than 5 seconds to play,
you will get only ONE warning, then your team will be disqualified.
Foul Language, Abuse, Snide remarks & Disrespect to TD or other players will not be tolerated!!!
1 Warning and then your team will be disqualified.
Depending on the situation, additional penalties may occur.
BAD SPORTSMANSHIP is not acceptable, PERIOD! 1 warning, then tourney disqualification and possible additional penalty.
No table talk (eg. "they need bags partner" or "go for set") of any kind is allowed during play of hand.
Instant messages OR private messages also are NOT permitted.
1ST OFFENSE: WARNING & SKIP HAND WITH A -100 POINT PENALTY IF OPPONENTS WANT TOO.
2ND OFFENSE IS A DQ FROM TOURNAMENT.
In the event of a tie, play one more hand of same game.
If both teams are -200, clear score & play 1 (or 2) more hand(s) of the same game.
When game has ended, winners please remain seated until you see the TD has announced the correct winner in the lobby.
Players may only be registered for 1 tourney in progress at a time.
If you are in 2, you will be asked to forfeit one of them;
Unless 1st tourney will end before next begins.
Subs: League Subs are allowed, only for emergencies, not so players can play elsewhere.
Rated tourney--{1v1}
No subs allowed untill the player has been dq'd
After 10 minutes, then get a sub. The remaining player in that pairing may choose from those members available to sub, to determine winner of the other match on the table.
Rated--{2v2} Tourneys
When 1 player is booted from the table, TD will call the time. After 5 minutes, a sub, of the players choice may sub.
When the booted player returns, the sub is to finish that hand and let the player have his/her seat back.
when 5 minutes is up a sub of the player's choice must sit in so that the game may continue.
Reasons for DQ'D from a Rated Tourney 1} Both players on a team are not present at the table and time out.
2} A team has misbid twice { by bidding DN}
These are the only two reasons for being DQ'D from a Rated Tourney.
Timers
There is a 10 Minute reboot time, for 2v2 Tourneys.
In a rated team tourney, if a sub starts a game, they have the option of finishing that game, since it's their yahoo rating on the line.
In an unrated team tourney, a sub may be seated immediately.
There are no subs in a 1 vs 1 tourney. The player has 5 minutes to return
In 1v1 tourny's, it is a 5 minute timer. If a player fails to sit or is booted from the lobby, a sub may be obtained immediately so that play continues smoothly.
The TD will start a 5 minute timer and the player has 5 minutes to return to the table before being dq'd.
If you time out, your opponent advances.
Regular Partner's
Finding someone that you like to play with often is one thing, another is only playing with that one person & not any other league members.
Like any other league, we frown upon this very much.
So for obvious reasons. If we find players doing this, they will be asked to partner other members.
Example: If you and your favorite P play a tourney, you must each play with at least 1 different partner (in another tourney) before partnering again.
This also applies for rated league games.
And Excessive Auto Team Locator matches are prohibited.
Random partner Tourneys, Specials or 1v1 Tourneys, do NOT apply.
This rule has a 24 hour Reset so if you don't partner another person that day, and come back the next day you may partner that person, as long as 24 hours has gone by.
Visitors
Visitors may watch tourneys but must not disrupt play.
Visitors may be asked to leave the table by the TD or one of the Players.
Members playing on League Tourney tables can ONLY be on the table they are playing on.
ONLY TDS, HTDS and ADMINS can be on multiple tables, while playing in a game.
Multiple Games:
Playing in more than 1 game is NOT allowed in this league. This includes, both, league and non league games. If you are in a tourney, and your game is called and you are in another game, there will be consequences. 1st offense is a warning, 2nd offense is 1 day in the penalty box, 3rd offense is 7 days. After that, it will be up for administration review.
It is also NOT allowed to play in a Tourney, here in SpadesRagers, AND a Tourney in another league, at same time. If you are caught in both, at same time, there will be consequences. 1st offense is 3 days in Penalty Box, 2nd offense is 14 days and 3rd is 60 days. Any further offences will be reviewed by the administration
Booting
Booting of Members or Non-Members who are watching is not allowed. If they are being a nuisance, please get TD's permission before booting.
